The Secret of Success

Everyone is pursuing something, some achieve it and some fail. Did you know why only few people becomes successful? What makes them different from ordinary people? They knows something, THE SECRET OF SUCCESS. I am writing this article to give an overview of the secret. I have learned this from different self-help books & sessions and I am still learning more about it. My purpose is to spread this philosophy.

We all are free birds who meant to fly high, but sometimes we get stuck in the cages created by our mind. Those who freed themselves, they fly high with the glory. You are also pursuing your dream and working hard for it. This is my little help for you to achieve your dream. I hope it will help you. I tried my best to present it in a simple form.

Always remember MIND is everything and THE SECRET is in the mind. You are possessing it and you just need to be aware of it. THE SECRET OF SUCCESS consist of different principles mainly PURPOSE, DESIRE, FAITH, IMAGINATION, ATTITUDE and ACTION.

•PURPOSE•

‘Life without purpose is like journey without destination’

Take a pause and ask yourself, what is the purpose of your life? What kind of person you want to be? What you want to achieve? Ask yourself, write it down, no need to share with anyone. It’s your life, your purpose and only you are going to achieve it.

Alexander the Great had the purpose of concurring the world, though he failed but still his name reached at every corner of the world. Ashok Samrat had the purpose of ‘Akhand Bharat’.

•DESIRE•
“Dream is not that which you see while sleeping it is something that does not let you sleep.”- A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

The starting point of all achievements. The simple desire of growth can change person's life. Desire is a mere wish come from the heart and when the mind conceive it then becomes the dream. When you start pursuing that dream, your life starts changing. Bigger the desire, greater the life. There are positive and negative kinds of desire, so choose wisely to make better and greater life.

A many years back, Henry Ford decided to produce his famous V-8 motor. He chose to build an engine with the entire eight cylinders cast in one block and instructed his engineers to produce a design for the engine. The design was placed on paper, but the engineers agreed, but to a simple man, that it was simply impossible to cast an eight-cylinder gas engine block in one piece. Ford said, “Produce it anyway.” For the year engineers failed to make it, but still Ford said “Go right ahead” “I want it and I’ll have it.” They went ahead and then, as if by a stroke of magic, the secret was discovered. Ford`s BURNING DESIRE won!

•FAITH•

Visualisation of and believe in attainment of desire. Faith is the first step towards achieving dream, without faith you can't reach at desired destination. While pursuing the dream you may face some failures but don't give up and keep trying until you achieve it. Have a faith in yourself, believe in your dream and trust your instincts.
Faith is the only antidote for failure!

Thomas Edison failed many times while inventing light bulb but he never gave up and kept faith in himself and he finally succeed. Christopher Columbus and Vasco da Gama found new lands only because of COURAGE and FAITH.

•IMAGINATION•

Our IMAGINATION has tremendous power, which can make impossible things possible. The starting point of every invention is starts from DESIRE and IMAGINATION. Whatever it is you want, feel it now, as if you already had it. Imagine that you achieved your goal with specific details. If your desired goal is to become millionaire, then keep imaging that you are millionaire and you will automatically find the way of becoming millionaire.

Walt Disney and R.K Laxman become successful and gave us joy because of their IMAGINATION and CREATIVITY.

•ATTITUDE•

“You cannot have positive life and a negative mind.”- Joyce Meyer

Attitude is important principle. Be positive. Remove the negative thoughts from the MIND. Don’t overthink about your problems and find the solution. See your troubles as blessing. Focus on what you can control, don’t focus on what you can’t control. It’s not about how it happened, it’s about how you react on it, keep calm and always react in positive way.

The secret behind success of M.S. Dhoni is his attitude. He always face problems with calmness and positiveness.

•ACTION•

“If you want to shine like a sun, then first burn like a sun.” – A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

Action may not always brings success; but there is no success without action. Action is taking steps towards dreams. Without action no one can become successful. Hard work is paramount. Take any legendary name and you will find that how much they took the efforts to reach that position.

In your search for the secret of the method, do not look for a miracle, because you will not find it. You will find only the eternal laws of Nature. Sometimes it takes time but THE SECRET always works, just follow it sincerely and with consistency. To become SUCCESSFUL you should follow certain principles like DESIRE, FAITH, COURAGE, THINKING, IMAGINATION, DETERMINATION, KNOWLEDGE, PLANNING, DECISION, ACTION, PERSISTENCE and HARD WORK.
